- Certification of data destruction by serial number of the host machine
- Date and method of sanitation
Maxxum also employs best practices for the physical destruction of hard drives for sanitizing data. Hard drives requiring physical destruction are removed from the on-site secure cage storage area and shredded. The shredding proceses is certified by the serial number of the host machine. The date of receipt at the distribution center is also documented, as well as the date and method of sanitation.
